Andrews Forest Flood Cam The Andrews Forest is focused on a logjam on a section of Lookout Creek approximately 2 miles upstream from its confluence with Blue River.
By combining critical thinking skills with inquiry-based learning, students learn in a unique, highly motivating environment. During periods of heavy rain in the winter, Lookout Creek is transformed from a clear stream to a muddy torrent.
Its chime on the hour and half hour are often a reminder to get to class.
Part of the tower was built with bricks salvaged from the former Shannon Hosiery Mill on Talbotton Road, which was the founding site of Columbus College in 1958.
